When you use AuraCheck, we collect:
Account data: Your Apple ID identifier (a unique token, not your email or name) when you sign in with Apple. If you choose to share your name, we store your first name for display purposes.
Selfie photos: When you perform an aura check, your selfie is sent to our AI analysis service. We do not permanently store your photos — they are processed in real-time and discarded after analysis.
Aura results: Your aura analysis results (aura name, tier, scores, descriptions) are stored so you can view your history.
Usage data: Basic usage statistics such as number of checks performed and streak count.
We use your data solely to provide the AuraCheck service — analyzing selfies, generating aura readings, maintaining your history, and managing your account.
We use the following third-party services:
xAI (Grok): Your selfie is sent to xAI's Grok Vision API for AI analysis. Their privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
Apple Sign In: Authentication is handled through Apple's Sign in with Apple service.
Your account and aura results are stored securely in our database. Selfie images are not stored permanently.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
AuraCheck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
